1/4 kg prawns
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp turmeric pwd
1/2 tbsp garam masala pwd
1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 egg white
1 tbsp red chilly pwd
1 tbsp corn flour
1/2 tsp pepper pwd
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
Fresh curry leaves
Method
- Clean and wash the prawns.
- Drain water completely.
- Marinate the prawns with salt, lemon juice, turmeric pwd, garam masala pwd, ginger garlic paste, egg white, red chilly pwd, corn flour and pepper pwd.
- Mix and keep aside for 30 mins.
- Heat oil in a fry pan.
- Fry the marinated prawns in batches.
- Deep fry in medium flame.
- Remove and drain in kitchen tissue.
- Heat a tsp of oil in another fry pan.
- Saute curry leaves until it turns crispy.
- Add the fried prawns and saute for few seconds.
- Serve hot as appetizer or starter.
